Black Abyss Invocation

The six songs making up Black Abyss Invocation were created in a single session overnight, and left its creators in awe of what they accidentally stumbled upon. The sonic terrains discovered were nothing sort of hostile and unfathomably haunting, yet the kind that lures you deeper and deeper into its uncharted areas on every passing second. Where once stood a wall signifying the ultimate point of unease and anxiety, now a vast black ocean spread out, beckoning both the band as well as its listeners to wade into it until reaching neck-deep and suddenly being pulled down by something inexplicable and unnamed.

Where there once was scarce light, now there is none.

YATSU
IT CAN’T HAPPEN HERE

YATSU “It Can’t Happen Here” Churns out 17 unhinged tracks in a mere 23 minutes.Taking it’s ponderous title from the Sinclair Lewis novel (without further confluences with it), the phrase “it can’t happen here” speaks to the delusion of the United States as a whole being an impenetrable stronghold and could never decline. Drawing from the same source, the grating and violent, bulldozing sonics harness further weight from the all-encompassing themes that delvein current topics such as gun violence, false allyship, systemic racism, and political apathy to name but a few angles, together with the music providing a pervasive and firm backdrop to modern downfall.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Michael Briggs at Civil Audio in Denton, TX

COllapsed Mainframe
Theater of Tyranny

Collapsed Mainframe was conceived in late 2021 to expand and push the boundaries of sonic dissonance and chaos. The lineup of Joe Soranaka (ex-Apocalyptic Noise Syndicate), Justin Lott (ex-Hydro Cannibal), James Duval (Nonvector), and Boice Best (ex-Apocalyptic Noise Syndicate) came together to compose the songs that would become the concept album Theater of Tyranny – influenced by Industrial Society and its Future by Theodore Kaczynski aka The Unabomber. Theater of Tyranny revolves around the warmings Kaczynski wrote about in his Manifesto concerning technology and its effects on society through invasion of privacy, government control, the merging of man and machine, manipulation of the media, politics, and war. Recorded at Southwing Studios by Ben Gott (Cryptic Void), the album features a mix of blackened dissonant grind, death metal, and death doom as a soundtrack to the slow deterioration of society. Interludes taken from Kaczynski's Manifesto, narrated by actor Jacob Reynolds of Gummo fame, set the tone for the album's bleak message.
